EMPOWERING NEXT OLYMPIC HOPE

As a very strong nation, we dedicated towards the HOPE of our next Olympic medal. In 2000 Susanthika Jayasinghe won a Silver medal in Sydney Olympics representing Sri Lanka after Duncan White’s Silver medal in 1948. 

  

“EMPOWERING NEXT OLYMPIC HOPE” is a program to enable the HOPE of talented young sports personalities in achieving their dream for an international medal. 

 

Amandhika Amarasinghe

"Amandika is the best shooting athlete of the year 2019 with the new national record under the riffle shooting category. And she is the best youth and junior athlete of the same year. Amandhika is a bronze medalist at the 2019 South Asian Games. "

Tharushi Karunarathna

Ms.Tharushi Karunarathna holds the record for both 400m & 800m events at the All Island School Games 2019 while being the gold medalist for both events. She too holds the record for the 800m at the Sir John Tarbot Senior Championships 2019 & is the gold medalist for both 400m & 800m. Ms.Tharushi was awarded the best female athlete under 16 at the provincial meet in 2019.

Ravindu Sithum Jayasundara

"Athlete Ravindu is participating in three main events: 100m,200m, and 400m. Sithum, He is the best sprinter in u 18 age category with the new school records. Sithum is a gold medalist at the Junior National Championship 2019, and he had placed number of new meet records in several tournaments such as John Tarbet Championship 2019, All Island School Games 2019 etc. "

Tehan is the best boxing player at the ‘School Boy Boxing Championship in the year 2020. He represented the Sri Lankan Schoolboy Team at the Schoolboy Boxing Championship in Kuwait City 2019.

Senura Dilanka Silva

P.D.Senura Dilanka Silva is the best Table Tennis player of the year 2019 with the new national record. And he is the best junior player of the same year. P.D.Senura Dilanka Silva is a gold medalist at the 2019 South Asian Hopes, Cadet & Junior TT Championship in Nepal. He represented the Sri Lankan National Team at the 24th Asian Table Tennis championship in Indonesia 2019.
